Chori 33 is a straightforward spot tucked into the heart of Buenos Aires that caters to anyone looking for a casual, satisfying fast-food experience focused on classic Argentine comfort food. It operates somewhere between a traditional chophouse and a no-frills fast food joint, making it ideal for locals craving a filling meal without the fuss.

At its core, Chori 33 is about enjoying hearty sandwiches like the choripán—grilled chorizo on crusty bread—served with a variety of sauces to customize your bite. The menu also includes lomito completos, juicy burgers, and an interesting touch with Venezuelan-style empanadas. Pairing a choripán or sandwich with a cold local beer like Quilmes or Imperial is a common way to round out a relaxed lunch or dinner.

The atmosphere matches the menu’s simplicity: expect a lively yet unpretentious environment where the service is friendly and efficient. The place works well when you want a quick meal that still feels like more than just takeout—whether grabbing a choripán after work or meeting friends for a casual bite late in the evening, as it stays welcoming even close to closing time.

Visitors here tend to be locals familiar with classic Argentine street food staples as well as visitors who want an authentic, unfussy experience. It’s not a spot for a slow, fine-dining dinner but rather for grabbing something tasty, satisfying, and filling in a friendly setting.

Given its location on Bernardo de Irigoyen, Chori 33 fits neatly into the surrounding urban rhythm—a practical stop within Buenos Aires for a quick, hearty meal when you want something firmly local without any complications.

First time trying choripan! I paid 2400 ARS for just the sandwich, you choose what sauces to get at no additional cost. The staff were really nice and the place had a nice atmosphere. Very filling! Will be back.

Had a really good choripan here. We arrived just before closing time but they were still happy with us to sit in. The service was great and they provided multiple sauces to go on the choripan which made it even better. Would go back here

The burger was really good and the staff was nice and friendly. One thing to note is that they charge 25% extra if you're paying with a foreign card. It'd really do you justice to pay with cash instead. They take US dollars and Reais as well, but they won't take a larger bill like $100. They were transparent about this, though. I just didn't have any pesos.
